Parveen Khanna, MD, FACC, FASNC, is a board-certified cardiologist at ECCA who has been in practice for nearly 40 years. A native of India, Dr. Khanna currently serves the communities of Manchester, Hartford, and South Windsor, Connecticut.
Dr. Khanna attended premedical school at Hansraj College in New Delhi, India, before enrolling in medical school at the University of Delhi in New Delhi, India. After graduating in 1980, Dr. Khanna moved to New York City to begin additional training in internal medicine at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center.
Committed to furthering his education and medical training, Dr. Khanna completed a two-year cardiovascular fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington DC, as well as another year at Mount Sinai Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. He holds board certifications in several different areas of medicine including internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, and sleep medicine.
As an experienced cardiologist and sleep medicine specialist, Dr. Khanna provides expert care for a wide variety of conditions, including high blood pressure and cholesterol, sleep apnea, and insomnia. Dr. Khanna offers home testing for sleep apnea and insomnia, nuclear stress testing, radiofrequency ablation, and more.
In addition to his board certifications, Dr. Khanna is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He is also an active member of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.
